Finally Back Offshore – Bye Bye Erin

🌊🎣 Offshore Fishing is BACK on the Outer Banks! After a week on hold with Hurricane Erin, we finally made it back offshore today—and it did not disappoint. Several boats had quite a few blue and white marlin releases along with limits of mahi for the box! 🐟🔥

Awesome When It Comes Together

We have had a wild weather week here on the Outer Banks.  Between a cold front coming in, rain and windy days, it has made it more difficult to get off the dock,  The fishing really suffered from the drastic drop in the water temperature.    Thankfull, the water has warmed up and the rain is gone.  With the exception of Saturday, weather next week is looking good.

Making Memories both Offshore, Nearshore and Inshore

It has been a busy week.  Both the Fishin Fannatic and the Fish Advisor have been bringing in the fish.  Offshore has been catching tuna, mahi, wahoo and a few billfish.  Nearshore has been catching ribbonfish, spanish mackeral and a few bluefish. Another great day on the water. We caught (and released) a blue marlin and a white marlin. We also had a nice catch of dolphin. We still have some availability later in the week.

What a difference a day makes – yesterday nothing but cold, green water and today it was almost perfect. Abbey got to catch her first yellowfin!!! Offshore Action Heating Up

The past few days we have been offshore – Friday the tuna bite was definitely off, so we went in search of som mahi and managed to get some in the boat.

Saturday was much better for the yellowfin tuna.  We only had a few guys out with us today and had our limit of yellowfin and were back at the dock by 12:30.  We had 9 bites and 6 made it in the boat.  We had a nice bigeye smoke us pretty good today.
