We had a great day with Doug, Bobby and their kids. What a fun group to fish with. Fishing was slow at first but we managed to find some yellowfin. We continued trolling and ran into some flloating shipping tarps and had a very nice catch of mahi! Giant bluefin season officially closes at 11:30 pm today, however, 
that does not slow down the bluefin charters, We are allowed to keep any fish under 73″ and there are a bunch of fish under that threshold out there. Yesterday, we relased 4 bluefin about 68-70″, caught a nice wahoo about 30 lbs and a few king mackeral. Not a bad day at all. We have had a wild weather week here on the Outer Banks. Between a cold front coming in, rain and windy days, it has made it more difficult to get off the dock, The fishing really suffered from the drastic drop in the water temperature.
