We have been so busy lately, that I have fallen behind in post.
This past week has been great – Fishin Fannatic, with Capt Mrak has been catching lots of mahi, yellowfin tuna, tilefish, black seabass, sailfish and some white marlins – this is a great time to get out there.
The Instigator, with Capt. George, has had plenty of action on his nearshore trips with some nice spanish macheral and bluefish. On our Extended Intermediate trips, we have been bringing in tilefish, black seabass, some mahi and amberjacks.

We had a great day with Doug, Bobby and their kids. What a fun group to fish with. Fishing was slow at first but we managed to find some yellowfin. We continued trolling and ran into some flloating shipping tarps and had a very nice catch of mahi! Offshore Fishing is BACK on the Outer Banks! After a week on hold with Hurricane Erin, we finally made it back offshore today—and it did not disappoint. Several boats had quite a few blue and white marlin releases along with limits of mahi for the box!

Thanks to all of our great customers, we have been pretty busy and haven’t had much time to post. These past few weeks have been great. Today, our groups were lucky enough to have the mahi in close and we were able to get them on our nearshore charters. This is something that rarely happens. Looking like we have weather coming in this weekend and Friday will be our last trip until hopefully Monday. Have a few openings next week – should be good fishing after the blow.
