Lots of Great Fishing Lately

We have been so busy lately, that I have fallen behind in post.

This past week has been great – Fishin Fannatic, with Capt Mrak has been catching lots of mahi, yellowfin tuna, tilefish, black seabass, sailfish and some white marlins – this is a great time to get out there.

The Instigator, with Capt. George, has had plenty of action on his nearshore trips with some nice spanish macheral and bluefish.  On our Extended Intermediate trips, we have been bringing in tilefish, black seabass, some mahi and amberjacks.

Nice Day Offshore

We had a great day with Doug, Bobby and their kids.  What a fun group to fish with.  Fishing was slow at first but we managed to find some yellowfin.  We continued trolling and ran into some flloating shipping tarps and had a very nice catch of mahi!  We then rounded out the trip with a limit of some very nice tile fish! #fishinfannatic #wanchesemarina #outerbanksfishing

Great Fishing

Thanks to all of our great customers, we have been pretty busy and haven’t had much time to post.  These past few weeks have been great.  Today, our groups were lucky enough to have the mahi in close and we were able to get them on our nearshore charters.  This is something that rarely happens.  Looking like we have weather coming in this weekend and Friday will be our last trip until hopefully Monday. Have a few openings next week – should be good fishing after the blow.

Nearshore / Offshore is HOT on the Outer Banks

The last few days have been non-stop fun on the water – we’ve been reeling in plenty of Spanish Mackeral and some beautiful Blluefish! The bite is on, and the conditions have been perfect for a great day of fishing along our stunning OBX coastline.

Awesome When It Comes Together

We have had a wild weather week here on the Outer Banks.  Between a cold front coming in, rain and windy days, it has made it more difficult to get off the dock,  The fishing really suffered from the drastic drop in the water temperature.    Thankfull, the water has warmed up and the rain is gone.  With the exception of Saturday, weather next week is looking good.

Great Week of Fishing on the Outer Banks

Both the Fishin Fannatic and Fish Advisor have had a great week of fishing and some terrific customers.
