On Wednesday, we had Scott and Shelly out with us for a 6 hour charter. What a blast we had with these guys. We ended up with our limit of nice king mackeral and a few false albacore. The fishing has been really good as of late. The 6 hour gives more time to get to the kings and the offshore action has been hot lately too.
On Thursday, we had Ken and his family out with us for a full day offshore – plenty of action! The blackfin tunas were everywhere – we threw back more than we kept. A few mahi and yellowfin mixed in. Today we had Ron and the boys out with us. What a great day we had. These guys were a blast to have on the boat for the day. On our way out, we stopped and fished for some tilefish. They started off biting quickly and then just as quick, shut down! We then continued offshore and found the mahi school and the fun began. We ended up having a nice catch and alot of fun.

Great trip and adventure with the captain and crew on the Fishin Fannatic, from the time we contact Captain Mark about booking the trip until we return to the dock. We couldn’t have asked for a better time aboard. Captain Mark and 1st mate Alex used all of their years of knowledge to find the fish and make this trip a memorable one for all. On Saturday, we had the O’Conner family from Illinois out with us. They were on an Extended half day trip and as luck would have it, the mahi were only about 14 miles off today and we had enough time to get to them. The kids had a blast bailing mahi and catching some nice kingfish. What great memories this family will have. We love having family trips and introducing kids to fishing.
